City Centre Mirdif will celebrate the unifying power of food by inviting its guests to dine together at the Celebrity Chef’s Table—a unique set of culinary experiences led by renowned chefs during Dubai Food Festival. Up until 14 March 2020, Celebrity Chef’s Table will highlight Dubai’s gastronomic variety—brought about by the emirate’s cosmopolitan population—through an intimate cooking workshop and specialty meal. To complement the shared culinary experiences, City Centre Mirdif will also offer a variety of food-focused promotions, including ten times the SHARE reward points during the campaign period when users of the app dine at any F&B brand.

At Celebrity Chef’s Table, shoppers will have the opportunity to enter a vibrant kitchen stationed in the mall’s Central Galleria and enjoy a unique dining experience led by a celebrity chef. Shoppers will witness the subtleties of food preparation and presentation, participate in demonstrations, and taste the delicacies prepared before them by the likes of Chef Orfali, Chef Khaled, Chef Leyla, and the youngest Emirati cuisinier, Chef Ayesha.

Mohamed Al Jasmi, Senior Mall Manager - City Centre Mirdif, at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, said: “Dubai Food Festival is both a celebration of food and recognition of the diversity of Dubai, as each community brings its own culinary customs and flavours into the emirate. We’re delighted to demonstrate this richness of experience through Celebrity Chef’s Table and bring our customers together to celebrate new flavours and new ways of enjoying food. This is another compelling example of how we’re creating great moments for our customers that complement the retail experience.”

The concept adds to the generous spread of promotions coming to City Centre Mirdif for Dubai Food Festival. Through the mall’s Ultimate Foodie Challenge, visitors to any dine in restaurant have the chance to win AED 20,000 for the duration of the festival. All they need to do to enter is scan a QR code found on their table and enter a code provided by their waiter. Hungry shoppers can enter the draw every time they dine during the festival.

Meanwhile, during Foodie Hour between 12pm and 4pm, those gathering to dine at the mall’s restaurants will also be rewarded with a buy-one-get-one-free offer. Participating restaurants include Nando’s, Carluccio’s, Logma, and Gourmet Burger Kitchen and more.

Shoppers at City Centre Mirdif will also get the chance to win AED 10,000 every week. When spending AED 200 or more at any of the mall’s outlets during Dubai Food Festival, shoppers can present their receipts at one of the mall’s customer service desks and enter the draw for the weekly prize.

And, in the spirit of shared culinary experiences, a food photography competition launched via the mall’s Instagram platform will award AED 500 for the best food photo snapped at a City Centre Mirdif outlet each day.
