Majid Al Futtaim—the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia—is inviting its fashion-savvy shoppers to explore the new season with fashion influencer, Alanoud Badr (@fozaza) during an exciting month-long schedule of events, brand activations and shopping experiences from October 4 - 31. Launched as the season’s latest collections drop in stores, the mall’s Autumn/Winter ’18 fashion campaign will show how ‘Fashion is Power’.
The mall has partnered with fashion influencer and television personality, Alanoud Badr who will share her insights into what’s trending this season and how to shop for the perfect Autumn/Winter wardrobe.
“I’m really excited to collaborate with City Centre Mirdif where there are so many fashion choices under one roof from designer to high-street. I think fashion gives you the power to introduce yourself to the world without saying a word, and this season there are so many exciting ways to show who you are via key trends, colours and pieces. My top trend for the season is the return of leopard print and snake skin, and key colours are browns, burgundy and bright blues. Camel or teddy coats and cowboy boots are a must in my winter wardrobe,” said Alanoud Badr.
Each week, one lucky visitor will win an AED 20,000 shopping spree and two-hour styling session with Alanoud, who will help them create the outfit of their dreams. The prize draw is open to shoppers who spend at least AED 500 at the mall; those whose spend includes clothing, footwear or accessories will double their chances of winning.
The mall’s Central Galleria will come alive with presentations, showcases and interactions from leading labels including Desigual, Ibin Sina Pharmacy, Kiko, L'Occitane, Lacoste, Lululemon,
United Designers, and Sfera. Here, visitors will be offered product samples, makeovers
and more. New this year is the ‘Style Lounge’, a quirky pop-up concept that is sure to become a VIP magnet. Located on the mall’s ground floor, this intimate space will stage unmissable events such as influencer ‘meet and greets’, fashion shows and panel debates on the season’s hottest trends. The chic new space will serve delicious coffee, stylish mocktails and other refreshments for the perfect instagrammable moment.
